Great Woods Logging prides itself on working closely with our customers to fully understand their timber harvesting goals and needs. There are several reasons to do a timber harvest:

Whatever your reason, we will do the best job possible to provide you with a successful end result. Great Woods runs a fully mechanized operation, which creates a safer work environment and helps control the cleanliness of the job. By driving over the soil with equipment, it stirs up nutrients and seed on the forest floor, thus promoting quicker regeneration. It also breaks up smaller branches which have dropped, helping them to decompose sooner, which leads to healthier soil.
